Sakura Wine Awards 2022, Marchesale 2019 and Tarabuso 2019 win two trophies

Sakura – Japan Women’s Wine Awards is a Japanese wine competition which, as you can easily guess from the title, is chaired by a completely female jury. The goal is to select quality wines, perfect to combine with home cooking recipes typical of the Japanese tradition.

The 9th edition of the event saw a total of 4,652 wines examined, from all over the world. The awarded wines were:

• 60 with the Diamond Trophy;
• 226 with the Double Gold Medal;
• 1425 with the Gold Medal;
• 614 with the Silver Medal.

Of the numbers shown above, our Marchesale and Bittern are also part of it. In fact, we are extremely proud to announce that:

• Marchesale 2019, DOC Bolgheri Superiore, was awarded the Diamond Trophy;
• Tarabuso 2019, IGT Toscana, gets the Gold Medal.
